Changsuk Ahn
Changsuk Ahn is an illustrator based in Little Rock and currently lives with her husband, daughter, and a cat. A firm believer that art is a universal language, Changsuk strives to create art that brings warmth to its viewers.
Changsuk’s career in illustration began when she received the 'Children’s Book Illustration Award' from the Korea Publishing Arts Competition in 2000. She then went on to publish over 35 children’s books in various genres including classics, fiction, Korean folk, science, and christianity. Changsuk also created illustrations for numerous newspapers, magazines, and educational resources.
After moving to America in 2009, she continued to work in illustration and also began teaching arts and crafts to students from Pre-K to seniors. She led multiple art camps in the summers and also worked on a mural for a local church. Currently, Changsuk is preparing to publish a self written and illustrated children’s book as well as creating work for a gallery exhibition.
